Both of my daughters were born in the midst of flu season. Despite being cautious, and taking all preventative measures it was still nerve-wrecking having newborns in the middle of winter. We have had a few scares related to flu-like symptoms with our girls over the years.
The one that sticks out the most was this past flu season when our oldest was diagnosed with the flu. With little ones, your only real option is to treat the symptoms. It was several days of Kennedy being lethargic, without an appetite, and overall just whimpy. As a parent it is heart-breaking watching your little one suffer. Thankfully after 3 days she took a turn for the better and the light started to come back into her eyes, and the sass in her voice. We were so grateful to get a glimpse of our energetic little girl back.
This brings me to the point of why we love and trust Maty’s products. During the winter it feels like almost everyday at least one of the girls has a sniffle, cough, congestion, or something of the sort. As parents we are always wanting to alleviate their discomfort. So, to be able to do that with natural ingredients such as Chamomile, Lavender, and Eucalyptus Essential Oils to name a few, sets my mind at ease. I rub the Maty’s All Natural Baby Chest Rub on my girls often during the winter to help them sleep easier. All while being able to sleep easier myself knowing they’re at peace (and so am I) because I am not putting harmful ingredients on their skin. Since I brought up skin, I also have to mention how much we use the Eczema Relief cream as the temperatures get colder, our girl’s sensitive skin is desperate for moisture. Both of my daughters suffer from eczema often on their arms and legs during the cooler months. So we use this Eczema relief cream on a daily basis.
We are stocked up on our All Natural Baby Chest Rub for whenever the winter bugs start to hit our household!
