When I had my first daughter I had no clue about Baby Led Weaning. Maybe I was just so exhausted I didn’t pay attention to this popular technique, or maybe it just wasn’t as known as it is today. By the time I had my second daughter two years later I was very familiar with this method of food introduction. Baby Led Weaning is simply the idea of bypassing purees and waiting until baby is ready to self-feed. With two kids it truly helps to simplify things in our home. The kids eat what we eat! The only difference being in the size in which the food items are cut to prevent choking. The girls are able to explore the food and enjoy the eating process.
